Sometimes the battery and bluetooth icons on the Logi Options software will be grayed out, and the MX Master will work, but as if it were without any customization. To measure the read and write speeds of each, we ran AJA System Test speed tests using Samsung’s Portable SSD T5 for the USB ports and the now-discontinued LaCie Bolt 3 for the Thunderbolt ports. I asked Logitech if it planned to port Capture to computers with M1 and M2 chips. It is not Apple Silicon native, nor are there any plans to update it.
USB-C ports are less common, as are extra Thunderbolt ports.
